Our experienced staff at Sydney Laser Dentistry aim to provide exceptional dental and personal care in a comfortable, relaxing and efficient manner. We view you as more than just a patient and are committed to developing strong and lasting relationships so we can give you the best dental care for the long term. We want you to remain fully informed about what to expect, your treatments and caring for your teeth. Here is what you can expect as a new patient visiting our practice.
Operating in a modern, comfortable environment our practice is housed to state of the art laser and dental facilities to ensure your treatments achieve their optimum result.
Upon arriving at our practice you will be warmly greeted and our staff will offer any assistance in filling out the new patient form, if you haven’t already done so online (click here for the online version). Our friendly team are more than happy to answer any question or concerns that you may have.
If in the unlikely event your dentist is running slightly late, our practice is fitted with a multitude of entertainment, including reading material, flat screen television and children’s toys to keep you and your family entertained.
Once greeted by your dentist you will have a 90 minute appointment which will include a Comprehensive Dental Assessment and Oral Hygiene Treatment. This gives us a comprehensive overview of your current oral state and serves to identify and devise treatment plans for any potential problems.
This examination will include:
- Diagnostic X-rays (if required)
- Treatment Planning
- Digital Imagine
- Professional Clean and Polish
- Periodontal Charting
- Oral Hygiene Instructions
- Fluoride Application
Your Medical and Dental History
As a new patient it is important for you to complete a medical and dental health form to detail both your medical and dental history, and your current state of health. This will aid us in developing a comprehensive understanding of your current oral state so we can provide you with the best possible dental care and treatment options.
Of course , any information you provide will be held in the strict confidence and only used to facilitate your treatment by our staff.
For your convenience this form can be complete online and sent straight back to us. Or else it can be downloaded and emailed or faxed to us. Finally, if you don’t get around to completing this form prior to your appointment it can be completed in just a few minutes at our practice.

Caring for Your Children
At Sydney Laser Dentistry we are committed to providing the best of preventative and interceptive dentistry for your children. Because laser treatment is just about a “no-contact” treatment, it allows us to work on our children in a stress free environment so their experience at the dentist is comfortable and pleasant. Lasers can be used to prepare decayed teeth, control infected teeth, manage toothaches and swollen gums very precisely and often without the need of injections…… your child will love that!
Because we have had a great deal of orthodontic training at Sydney Laser Dentistry, we can advise you and commence early corrections which may mean a better and less stressful outcome for your child’s dental development needs.
In the event you arrive early, our modern practice is also housed to a range of entertainment material to keep your children entertained while they wait.

At Sydney Laser Dentistry we understand the financial pressure that unexpended and often unwanted dental treatment can have on any budget. However, we also know that you may require this treatment efficiently with a standard of excellence. For this reason we have aligned ourselves with GE CareCredit to provide a range of flexible payment solution to help ease some of this stress.

HICAPS
We also accept health funds at Sydney Laser Dentistry. If you’re a member of a health fund, simply bring your plastic swipe card to your next appointment and we can process your request in just a few minutes with our HICAPS machine, so all you pay, is the difference.

For any payments that you make we accept cash, credit cards, cheques or EFTPOS.
